Lewis County, Washington is located in the southwestern part of the state, nestled between the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Coast. While Lewis County remains a relatively conversative and predominantly white area with strong rural character, growing diversity and modest shifts in demographics are beginning to reshape the cultural fabric of the community.

​ROOTED in Lewis County is a grassroots 501(c)(4) nonprofit that serves historically marginalized communities and their allies. We are working to remove systemic barriers and nurture connections so everyone can grow and thrive. Individuals are empowered to help love flourish, dignity sprout and cultivate lasting, positive change to advance an inclusive, equitable Lewis County for all.

Our organization is governed a Board of Directors currently comprised of five residents of Lewis County representing a wide range of cultural, professional, and life experiences. In addition, we employ an Executive Director and Communications Coordinator who each bring a unique background and perspective in the management of day-to-day business.

Together with the community, we're planting the seeds for a just and vibrant tomorrow.​​
